Biographical Text

Born in Denver, Colorado, a graduate of Sparks High School, Pat attended University of Nevada Reno before joining the Navy in 1946. After his discharge, Pat began working on railroads. Retired in 1990 from Santa Fe Trails Terminal Services, he maintained a life-long interest in railroads, both models and “the real thing”. He was a founding member of a local retired railroaders luncheon group.

A talented watercolorist and woodworker, Pat leaves behind many cherished examples of his expertise.

Pat enjoyed contributing to his community by participating in the Hercules Historical Society and as a prior long-time member of the Caprice Homeowners Board of Directors. Until his illness, he was always the “go-to guy” when any of his neighbors needed advice or repairs.

Pat was a friend to all who knew him and he will be deeply missed. His greatest love was his family and his joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
